Western Sydney University - Laboratory Redevelopment

Empire has been appointed to provide Project Management Services for a major redevelopment at Western Sydney University’s – Hawkesbury Institute of Environment (HIE), School of Science (SoSc) and Research facilities upgrade.

This project will revitalise key research facilities within the M-Precinct, delivering upgraded, purpose-built laboratory environments and modernised spaces to support cutting-edge scientific research work.

The project scope of works is planned for delivery across two stages and will include; refurbishment of existing spaces to house advanced research functions and expansion and upgrade of the research buildings to create integrated, high-performance laboratory and support areas.

The redevelopment will strengthen the campus’s research capabilities, foster collaboration between academia and industry, and bring multiple scientific disciplines together within a unified precinct.
