An Increase in Footprint

Club Central Hurstville’s redevelopment project expanded the already sizeable landscape by a whopping 50%. Included is a nine-story behemoth housing a 124-room Travelodge Hotel and a five-story subterranean parking lot among other things. This initiative is part of the ongoing trend among NSW’s registered clubs to secure greater revenue stability past gaming.

The Challenges

We overcame immediate challenges, breaking down the logistical and physical barriers of the project with time, cost and quality coordination being a crucial control area. The application of our strong leadership and technical skills alongside thorough planning and client communication brought effective solutions to these challenges that may have deterred other firms.

The Solutions

The redevelopment delivered a complete upgrade in its infrastructure, including an exceptional new Travelodge Hotel with 124 rooms, a five-storey basement car park and upgraded infrastructure to service the new development.

The Outcomes

The project was successfully completed to achieve the desired result of a 50% increase of the existing footprint, which included a new build of 9-storey buildings above ground, a 5-storey basement carpark, a 124-room Travelodge Hotel, and an upgrade of infrastructure. The project set the Hotel up for a diverse revenue stream and less reliance on gaming.
