Cultural Rejuvenation

The Sun Hotel in Townsville is a well-established pub that is adored by locals. It is favoured for its fantastic customer service, cold drinks, and tasty food, as well as its warm and inviting atmosphere. Recently, the venue went through a full refurbishment, not only with the mindset of giving it a fresh new look but also with the intention of creating an encompassing cultural atmosphere for both new and current patrons alike.

The Challenges

The complete upgrade to the venue was an extensive undertaking within a live environment. The construction phases were managed in various stages to ensure the venue was kept online for patrons.

The Solutions

Meticulous planning ensured the successful delivery of the refurbishment and rebrand whilst considerations were in place to minimise disruptions to existing operations. Our works including a new gaming room, sports bar and tab area, updated bistro and function space.

The Outcomes

At the completion of the refurbishment process, the Sun Hotel was transformed into a modern, inviting venue. Already well known for providing the very best in food and beverage and exceptional customer service, the hotel added a unique atmosphere to its offering for the Townsville community. The successful outcome has seen the Sun Hotel not only become an iconic destination, well respected for the quality of its food and service but has also enabled it to remain a prominent part of the Townsville pub culture.
