Leumeah Hotel is a staple of the West Sydney hospitality scene, with a history of patronage stretching back over 50 years.
As West Sydney grew, though, Leumeah’s owner, Redcape Hotel Group, realised that the venue needed an overhaul to keep up with the region’s vibrant community.
As an operational venue, Leaumeah Hotel needed a thoughtful approach to its refurbishment. We needed to stay within the project’s budget and schedule – without overtly impacting operationality or compromising the dining experience.
To balance project timelines and the needs of patrons, we adopted a staggered delivery approach. Refurbishments were implemented across multiple phases, with new developments occurring simultaneously.
The revitalised Leumeah Hotel has taken what made the original venue great and amplified it with a collection of sprawling, modern spaces suitable for all classes of patrons, linked together by a warm, visually striking ambience. We reconfigured and refurbished the ‘Dragons’ Den’ VIP gaming room, which included a bar, a foyer, luxuriously appointed bathrooms, and an entryway. We also reconfigured the hotel’s sports bar, entry, bathrooms, courtyard spaces, and façade, which included developing a new kitchen and 70-person family bistro.
