A tasteful refurbishment of a traditional brewhouse

The brewhouse shares its name with the first farm of the region, Eden Station, the achievement of convict and pioneering ‘father of Redbank Plains’, James Josey. Eden Brewhouse is a cheerful tribute to the pioneering characters like Mr Josey who moulded the Aussie spirit, our passion for pubs, thirst for beer and hunger for hearty fare.

The traditional design nods to the public houses of their British origins, while the mouth-watering selection of craft beers and rustic smokehouse menu pays due to their pioneering days of rural living and hand craftsmanship.

Following their acquisition of the landmark venue in 2019, this project was designed to reposition the asset through refurbishment of the Gaming Room, Sports Bar and Function Room.

The Challenges

An extensive refurbishment is being undertaken whilst the development is partially operational therefore minimising disruption is critical.

The Solutions

Once the project is completed there will be a complete refurbishment, expansion and footprint of the Gaming Room with inclusion of a dedicated Gaming Bar, refurbishment of the Sports Bar and reactivation of the Function Room and attached alfresco area.

The Outcomes

This project is still under construction.

Empire were engaged by the client to produce a feasibility report for the extension to the existing storage facility at Storage King Kunda Park.

The primary objective of the development is to facilitate additional teaching facilities to service existing and future student enrolments.
