Improving Eastwood's Premier Pub Destination

Situated in the heart of Eastwood, The Eastwood Hotel is one of NSW’s premier gaming venues and most certainly Eastwood’s premier pub destination.

The art deco inspired venue features spacious indoor and outdoor areas, impressive lounge and TAB sports bars, and the famous Jean’s Chilli Chicken Korean Restaurant.

The project sought to provide greater amenity to the large Garden Terrace, provide first class finishes and a VIP experience to the Gaming space and generally refresh the remainder of the venue.

The Challenges

An extensive refurbishment of the existing bistro, garden terrace and smoking terrace, including the provision of an environmentally responsive operable roof.

The Solutions

The project was delivered across multiple stages to limit impact to hotel operations and to ensure a safe environment for staff and patrons throughout the various stages of the project.

The Outcomes

A contemporary and modern refurbishment and reconfiguration of the Gaming Room was achieved incorporating luxury finishes, VIP experienced entry, refreshed male and female Gaming amenities and a first-class refurbishment to the Gaming Bar.

Empire were engaged by the client to produce a feasibility report for the extension to the existing storage facility at Storage King Kunda Park.

The primary objective of the development is to facilitate additional teaching facilities to service existing and future student enrolments.
