The Wondakiah development set a new benchmark of quality development for harbour front projects which other developments have emulated.
The previous North Shore AGL gas works site, was extensively remediated to provide 6.8 hectares of unprecedented architectural design and comprising 12 individual buildings ranging from a nautical theme near the water to an urban theme at the end of the development and extensive landscaping.
297 apartments in total were part of the scope including indoor and outdoor swimming pool and tennis courts. Heritage refurbishment of Admirals Place into a community space and a 41 berth marina accommodating boats up to 50 feet long were also part of the works completed.
Project Engineering services were provided for the construction contractor throughout the entirety of the construction phase.
With such a large project, it was imperative to ensure all aspects of the project, contractors, designers and contracts were planned and scheduled out according to the timelines.
