Scaling the Business

Club Central Hurstville’s redevelopment project has considerably expanded the already sizeable landscape. With increased infrastructure, there is now a 3-level extension providing plenty of new space to accommodate more members and guests, plus a new Bistro and rooftop café with views of the beautiful Botany Bay.

The Challenges

Our immediate challenge was to bring the project under control regarding time, cost and quality. We physically broke down barriers to interconnect both buildings. We had to minimise noise & vibration disruption to existing club facilities and operations. We managed ongoing practical construction challenges whilst feeling pressure from the functions centre for hitting key completion milestones.

The Solutions

Our scope of works was largely delivered in agressive timeframes and during Covid lockdowns. We applied our strong leadership and technical skills alongside regular communication with our client and clear expectations being demanded of the consultants and contractors. Whilse we managed expanded refurbishment scopes, the works were carefully planned and managed to minimise disruption to the existing Club facilities and members and their guests.

The Outcomes

We successfully delivered an impressive 3-level club extension providing a new Function Space accommodating 600 people, a Bistro and a brand new, beautifully situated rooftop cafe with picturesque views of Botany Bay. The project’s building contractor was also awarded a master builders association award. The club has significantly been lifted to be a leading entertainment destination in the area which has been incredibly well received by members, the club itself and it’s community.
