Main Refurbishment Works

Watson’s Bay Hotel is a boutique hotel located directly on Sydney’s shoreline, offering patrons premium dining experiences, event catering and accommodation for over 180 years.

The venue is a reputable and well-known destination to both the international and domestic market.

Empire was engaged as Project Managers for the Refurbishment of their Beach Club and Sunset Bathroom and Installation of the Pizza Oven.

Empire was involved throughout the project’s lifecycle, from design to the construction phase.

 

The Challenges

The project was delivered in a live environment which provided challenges to minimise disruption. As floor refurbishment was in scope, there was careful hoarding and workarounds that were implemented to ensure OH&S standards were adhered to and to maintain some trade.

The Solutions

Empire carefully managed the schedule of works around key trade hours to minimise disruption.

The Outcomes

A signifant refurbishment of the existing Beach Club and sunset bathrooms including new Terrazzo flooring, fixtures, fittings and partitions. The existing kitchen was extended for the installation of the Pizza oven and an extension of the Sunset dining room was completed.
