Main Refurbishment Works

The purpose of Unanderra Hotel is to provide the community with a pub to love.

A meeting place that Unanderra is proud to hold close to it’s heart because the drinks are cold, the smiles are warm, and the energy is uplifting. With drinks aplenty, an outdoor beer garden, premium VIP lounge, TAB sports bar and Unanderra’s signature dishes, it’s the perfect place to bring the community together.

Empire project management were engaged to provide project management services to deliver a significant venue wide refurbishment which included an upgraded gaming room, entry, bar and amenities, a refreshed sports bar and amenities, bistro, refurbished auditorium and function space, beer garden, external works and new signage.

The Challenges

The project was delivered in a live environment which provided challenges to minimise disruption. There was also procurement of the building contractor through a competitive tender and complex procurement of direct suppliers for signage and EGM products.

Empire’s services across superintendency, scoping, contractor procurement, construction and handover were seamlessly managed in accordance with the key deliverables for the project.

The Outcomes

A significant refurbishment of all major areas of the venue, bringing a more clean, contemporary yet warm refresh to the well known pub.
