Complex Feasibility and planning

Empire were engaged by the client to produce a feasibility report for the extension to the existing storage facility at Storage King Kunda Park. The works included producing a concept plan for a new multistorey self-storage building, undertaking site investigations and procurement of consultants. The final report included design, costs, risks assessment and program.

The next phase of works Empire will undertake is to obtain Development Approval and procurement of a construction contractor.

The Challenges

Demolition of existing facilities is required along with construction of a new 3-storey self-storage building. Office relocation is also required with minimal disruption.

The Solutions

Providing expert design management services, obtaining development approvals and preparing tender documentation for construction contract procurement.

The Outcomes

This project is still in progress.
