Live Environment Industrial Construction

This project consisted of the construction of 2300m2 of self-storage warehouse across two storeys with material hoist. Management of construction in a live environment. Provision of Contractor procurement, project management and superintendent services.

Empire were engaged as Superintendent during construction and provided the Client with Project Management support during the pre-construction phase.

Our scope included construction of 2300m2 self-storage warehouse within existing facility, incorporated a minor change application to DA and signage approval, procurement of building contractor through competitive tender, and construction was managed on a constrained and operational storage facility.

The Challenges

Design management and planning for a new 2-storey building within an existing facility, ensuring minimal disruption to live operations. A minor change in the application to DA and signage approval were completed. The building contractor tender was also extremely competitive.

The Solutions

Obtaining all required approvals successfully through a thorough contract administration and application process. Design and construction was also successfully managed on a constrained and operational storage facility.

The Outcomes

Successfully delivery of 2300m2 of self-storage warehouse across two storeys with material hoist inclusive of exterior landscaping works.
