Finetuning Somerville Gardens, One Room At a Time

Somerville was acquired in mid-2018 to the Opal portfolio to provide care for 130 residents across 2 principal wings. Upon due diligence, it was found that a complete service review across power, fire, comms and water services would be needed as part of the integration into the Opal portfolio.

The Challenges

During due diligence it was identified to have a number of service infrastructure deficiencies that would require rectification as part of the integration to the Opal portfolio along with significant capital expenditure review and implementation plan across the first 3 years.

The Solutions

A full service review and prioritisation of capital works were thoroughly planned to future proof their service infrastructure.

The Outcomes

Successful services were provided for the implementation of the transition capital works, and full-service review across, power, fire, comms and water services to identify future operational needs.
