John Fletcher Properties obtained DA consent for the demolition of the existing structures and construction of a 1,000m2 industrial warehouse building with office areas and carparking for 12 car spaces.

The head contract was awarded as a D&C, cost plus arrangement.

Site challenges included a steep sloping side sideways across the site with existing buildings on the high side requiring adequate shoring and support. The low side of the site has a creek and there are substantial overland flow paths that have needed to be addressed.

Empire were engaged to provide Project Management and Superintendency services.

This project was successfully completed several months ahead of schedule which was an outstanding effort from everyone involved.
