The Redcape Hotel Group needed to relocate their Head Office to Cremorne in 8 weeks. Despite the tight schedule, a vibrant and quirky corporate office space was created.
In honour of the past use of the site, some of the existing features of the old tenancy were kept. The project also included demolition, stripping out of, the reception area, meeting rooms, boardrooms, staff amenities, electrical and mechanical services.
The timeframe of the project was a challenge as it needed to be completed before the expiration of the client’s existing lease.
The project was fast-tracked through design and construction. Several existing features from the old tenancy were also used creatively.
In the end, the formerly redundant commercial space was transformed into a vibrant and eccentric office space for the Redcape Head Office. The scope of the project included demolition and stripping out of existing tenancy, and the creation of new reception, meeting rooms and board rooms. Apart from new and reconfigured electrical and mechanical services, other staff amenities like toilets, lunchroom, bar and quiet rooms were also integrated.
