Minor Works

Acquired by Redcape Hotel Group in Feb 2021, O’Donoghues Hotel located in Emu plains, provided a large multi-use hospitality venue with unique character.

Empire were engaged as Project Manager and Superintendent throughout planning, design, construction and handover phases.

Our scope included the design of a beer garden and gaming offering including play area.

The Challenges

The project was completed in a live operational environment therefore works needed to be carried out with minimal disruption. An assessment of CAPEX priorities was required to be completed post the acquisition from Redcape and before project was scoped.

The Solutions

Empire oversaw the procurement of the beer garden furniture and capex works to ensure alignment with budget.

The Outcomes

The gaming offering, beer garden and play area was refurbished in a more contemporary and modern style, expanding the overall offering of the hotel.
