Gaming Refurbishment

The Project Manager was responsible for the Design Management, Procurement, Construction and Handover phases of the Mounties Gaming project.

The project involved the conversion of the existing Auditorium into an Outdoor Gaming area in order to allow the staged refurbishment of the existing Gaming Room to be undertaken.

The scope included a VIP gaming room including VIP parking and a dedicated lift. A new strong room, cashier, bar and bathroom amenities.

The Challenges

With over 600 electronic gaming machines being accommodated within the space, staging of this project was critical.

The Solutions

The Auditorium was temporarily converted into a Gaming Room for 300 gaming machines in order to allow sufficient space for the refurbishment works to be undertaken. The project was broken up into multiple stages to minimize disruption to Staff and Guests and to maintain the operations of the business.

The Outcomes

The project successfully delivered the staged refurbishment of the existing gaming room, VIP gaming room including VIP parking and dedicated lift.
