A refreshing Entrance

This project is within the Mounties project portfolio with the objective to refresh existing entrances from the basement levels, the café dining and lobby outside the café, pool and gym.

The driver for the refresh is to create a more significant and meaningful presence for the patrons that enter from the carpark and adjacent to the smaller pool. The brief is to ensure those entering know that they are at Mounties from the moment they step inside. This welcome should be carried all the way up from the basement and into the main foyer.

The Challenges

The works were undertaken in a live environment thereforefore noise and general construction disruption had to be kept to a minimum.

The Solutions

Construction was managed in stages to ensure the venue was kept operational throughout the construction period.

The Outcomes

A modern and contemporary take on all basement level foyers, refresh of the Cafe Dining area and the lobby adjacent. The works have ensured this lower ground precinct fits in seamlessley with the rest of the infrastructure.
