Repositioning A Premier Site

Built in 2003, Mornington Bay Care Community is a premier site on Victoria’s Mornington Peninsula. Its residents were people with a range of care needs, however, it eventually lost its appeal. Plans were made to spruce up the site and redesign the communal spaces and rooms. The memory support wing was also reconditioned for proper integration with the home.

The Solutions

At the time of writing, the first phase of the refurbishment program has been completed. Further development to activate the communal space and upgrade the rooms with quality finishes is still ongoing.
