Historic Hotel Receives Tasteful Upgrade

The historic Hotel Mountain Heritage in the Blue Mountains offers premium Katoomba accommodation and spectacular views of pristine World Heritage wilderness.

ICC wishes to commit at the venue to significantly improve its market position and deliver the outcomes that both the business and its patrons demand. The design intent is to refurbish the property into a 5-Star venue.

Empire was engaged as Project Manager throughout planning, design, construction, and handover phases for upgrades to hotel rooms and additional rooms, revised planning and refurbishment of communal spaces, bar and lounge library.

The Challenges

Complying with heritage listing requirements and regulations. Construction was also required to be undertaken whilst the venue was operational.

The Solutions

The hours the works are being carried out have been carefully planned to ensure minimal disruption to the operations and guests.

The Outcomes

This project is still under construction.
