Goodman undertook an end of lease renewal of elements within Warehouse 1B of their Brisbane Gate Industrial Park located in Hendra. Leveraging various existing Goodman design standards including in selection of fittings and fixtures.

The scope of works included refurbishment of the ablutions and tearoom within office B including demolition of wall and floor coverings, renewal of waterproofing and wall and floor coverings, new sanitary fixtures, light fittings, new joinery and associated tea room provisioning.

Empire were the Project Managers and Superintendents across scoping, contractor procurement, construction and handover including all direct suppliers.

The Challenges

The project required to be an Environmentally Sustainable Development therefore where possible there needed to be adherance to the ESD principals to reduce negative impacts on the environment.

The Solutions

Various ESD upgrades were completed including the replacement of light fittings with new LED fixtures throughout the entire tenancy including warehouse and office areas.

The Outcomes

Successful refurbishment works of the ablutions and tearoom within office B were completed. Renewal of waterproofing and wall and floor coverings as well as the ESD light fitting installation, new joinery and associated tea room provisioning.
