Refitting an Iconic Building for Amazon

Citigroup Centre is a Sydney landmark, rising 243 metres above street level, with over 74,000 square metres of lettable space spanning 41 floors.

After Amazon identified the building as a key operational hub, it acquired [x] floors as offices for its employees.

We were engaged to return those floors to base building condition and undertake an integrated fit-out that aligned with Amazon’s design vision.

The Challenges

As a highly diversified multinational, Amazon has various internal stakeholder groups located both in Australia and overseas.

A key aspect of our role has been to liaise with each of those groups, which has included mediating differing priorities.

Amazon’s design team is also based overseas – we’ve established strong communication processes to ensure that their vision is accurately translated during delivery.
