Gaming Room Refurbishment

The Australian Hotel & Brewery was established in 2010, when there were only a handful of breweries around. It is now the home of Esker Beer Company, serving award-winning, hand-crafted brews onsite to match with locally sourced pub classics.

It is the community pub of the Hills where mateship is celebrated, craft beer is enjoyed and friendly service is provided. A true community-centric venue to celebrate social and exceptional entertainment experiences. Fit with unique bars, a spacious TAB and Sports Lounge, Bistro and alfresco dining areas, and a variety of function and event spaces. The best part being an onsite Brewery where you will relish in a true cellar door experience in the heart of the Hills.

The project scope was to greatly enhance the existing gaming room by expanding the area, installing a new dedicated bar and concierge service and new finishes throughout the entire space.

Empire were engaged to provide Project Management and Superintendency Services across planning, brief development, design, contractor procurement, construction and handover phases including procurement of all direct suppliers.

The Challenges

The project was delivered in a live environment which provided challenges to minimise disruption. There was a large extension and refurbishment of the existing gaming room and procurement of building contractors through a competitive tender.

The Solutions

Works were carefully scheduled and planned to minimise disruption to the operations and trade.

The Outcomes

A signifant refurbishment of the gaming room, bar and concierge services with contemporary and luxurious fittings and fixtures.
