Bakery Electrical Works Program

On the back of 7-Eleven receiving the CANSTAR Most Satisfied Customer Award in 2018 and 2019, strategic stores were selected to benefit from the new bakery offering initiative.

Electrical works were carried out across 250 stores in Victoria over a period of 2 weeks to allow for the installation of new equipment to display bakery produce. The project manager managed this program of works from procurement of contractors and equipment to delivery and close out of building works.

Scope included scoping and developing budget for each store. Procurement. Tender and assessment. Manage delivery of electrical works and defects close out. Smartsheet Online Forms Development. Dashboard Reporting.

The Challenges

The project had a strict deadline of 2 weeks to meet the timeline of when new bakery equipment was to be installed.

 

 

 

 

The Solutions

The project manager developed sign in/sign out forms on Smartsheet Online Tool for contractors to use in an effort to maximise delivery efficiency in this challenging program.

These forms would feed a live dashboard that was shared with 7-Eleven to enable check-in on program status during delivery.

The Outcomes

The project was successfully completed on time and to budget.
