Recreational Venue Makeover

The Wattle Grove Hotel offers an unbeatable escape from the everyday ordinary. Visitors are sure to find a whole new world of unique dining and entertainment options! Completely refurbished, the iconic venue now reveals an incredible gaming room with entry, bar, and amenities, an indoor kids’ playground and associated dining space, and a Sports Bar. Plus, a delicious bistro with external works to further enhance the guest experience.

Empire were engaged as Project Manager and Superintendent throughout planning, design, construction and handover phases.

The Challenges

Works were carried out in a live environment therefore disruptions had to be minimal.

The Solutions

The majority of works ended up being completed outside of general trading hours to minimise operational disruption.

The Outcomes

The successful refurbishment of The Wattle Grove Hotel included atrium roof works, relocating gas mains from nearby Coles, upgrades to the kitchen, dry storeroom, cool room, external gate and fencing, and loading dock areas. Additionally, there was also a refurbishment of the amenities in the gaming area.
