Building A Modern and Attractive Home

St Mary’s Villa is a 99-bed Residential Aged Care Facility owned and managed by St. Mary’s Catholic Parish, Concord. Completed in 2010, the three-story building includes a basement car park, a porte cochere, chapel, salon, and café, as well as large, inviting entertaining areas. The building is divided into four separate “houses”, with each catering to a specific level

The Challenges

Project construction was managed on a constrained and busy site adjacent to an operational school and a significant heritage-listed building in Concord.

The Solutions

Empire successfully navigated the rigorous authority and approval requirements when a heritage listed site is in the vicinity.

The Outcomes

A brilliantly designed and constructed building incorporated with Porte Cochere, Chapel, Salon and Cafe was delivered. The scope included an Aged Care Facility constructed over 3 floors to accommodate 99 people. And there was an additional basement car parking space included.
