Facilities

St Basils Aged Care

St Basils has 6 facilities in metropolitan Sydney and required a capital project to carry out significant refurbishments across this group of properties. The project included major repairs and rectifications across building facades and facilities.

The Challenges

The most significant challenge faced was figuring out how to deliver the project while minimising disruptions to the operation of the facilities. And while keeping this in mind we also needed to ensure the work needed to be completed within the project budgets, timeframes and to organisational objectives.

The Solutions

Empire negotiated with all contractors leading the team to deliver interconnected projects and minimise disruptions.

The Outcomes

The revitalised facilities continue to be in use, and are now more functional than ever. Our completed works included a full strip out and refurbishment of existing Independent living units, refurbishment works to facility rooms, reparing of concrete cancer, investigations into waterproofing issues and water leak and rectification works.
