Defect Remediation Works

The project was established to undertake defects remediation on aspects of the Alaris luxury residential property in Little Bay.

Works were undertaken within an occupied commercial residential building and included remediation of waterproofing membranes to various balconies and the rooftop.

Remediation of ACP External Louvers. Removal of corroded embedment in concrete slab and related repairs. Repair spalling concrete to balconies and other exposed structural elements. Rendering repairs and external (Façade) painting works. Fire Rating of Various Services Penetrations, Smoke Sealing of electrical cupboards

The Challenges

As works were performed in a live environment, there were several risks to residents that needed to be addressed.

The Solutions

Careful coordination with residents ensuring that processes were established and implemented to ensure all works were carried out safely was a high priority.

The Outcomes

The remediation works were successfully delivered to appropriate standards of quality and with high levels of planning and communication.
