Reconfiguring An Existing Precinct

The Project Manager was responsible for the successful delivery of the reconfiguration of this existing 4 story building (4,000m2 NLA) and complete base build works for 4 separate tenancies comprising a bank, gym, child care center and café. Works included the construction of 3 car parks and 3 passenger lifts.

The Challenges

Live operational environments with operating businesses, public interfaces and multiple tenancies posed challenges to construction and Empire worked collaboratively to ensure disruption was kept at a minimum.

The Solutions

Significant structural amendments were made to occupied buildings, including facades and extending slabs.

The Outcomes

The completed development area is now a bustling retail and commercial space within the Caringbah community.
