Development Application Works

The Courthouse Hotel is a heritage listed venue in Darlinghurst, Sydney. The DA was lodged in April 2022 and includes external and internal alterations to all 4 levels from basement to level 2.

Of the full DA scope, the ground floor scope will be activated first, requiring coordination of achieving compliance with the partial scope and an interim OC.

Empire were engaged as Project Managers throughout all stages of the project.

Works required completing in stages to minimise disruption to the live operations of the hotel.

Management of the delivery works was successfully achieved by carefully coordinating the scopes at different stages

The Outcomes

A refurbished gaming room and new gaming room section, a complete kitchen reconfiguration with upper floor works for ventilation shafts and a complete venue fire upgrade.
