On the back of 7-Eleven receiving the CANSTAR Most Satisfied Customer Award in 2018 and 2019, it was identified that most of the 7-Eleven stores across Australia needed an additional coffee machine.
Market studies found that one coffee machine would sell on average 250 cups a day and the general brief for each store was to install an additional coffee machine along with associated services and FF&E to bring the coffee numbers to 500 cups across all stores.
The Project Manager was instrumental in managing the delivery of Phase 1 to Phase 3 in Victoria before moving to Queensland to see out Phase 4 to Phase 6.
Scope included scoping and developing budget for each store, procurement, tender and assessment, managing construction and defects close out and site inspections and PC walks.
Due to the large number of stores in the program, it was imperative that the project was managed to the strict deadlines in order to achieve the clients’ goals.
The project manager phased the program out into a total of 6 phases that were grouped together by state to ensure maximum efficiency with contractors.
The 6 successfully completed phases have seen more than 700 7- Eleven stores across VIC, NSW and QLD fitted with an additional coffee machine beside other capital works improvements.
